An engagement session is great for so many reasons.  Couples choose locations that are special to them... the engagement location, beach, park, downtown, a first home...you name it.  The session is an opportunity to get to know you and for you to get to know me,  and it helps make you more comfortable and relaxed for photos on the big day.  Couples use these photos for their wedding websites, save the dates and just to have some nice photographs of the future Mr. and Mrs.!
